Alex is the only son of Elizabeth. Elizabeth, a widow, and orphan try to raise Alex out of poverty. Elizabeth is running the house by working in a nearby house. Mother, Elizabeth was dreaming that when the boy grows up, today’s situation will change.
But Alex’s companions were a group of scoundrels. Once upon a time, during a quarrel in a crowd, Alex stabbed a gentleman to death. After hiding for some time, the police caught Alex. And took him to the police station. Then when he was sent to court, the court ordered Alex to be hanged.
Alex’s unfortunate mother was disappointed by the court order. Mother’s future and dreams become like broken glass. Seeing the plight of the mother, the neighbors could no longer stay. They advise his mother to go to the governor and beg for his son’s life. Seeing Alex’s mother in such despair, the governor vowed to save Alex from a death sentence.
The governor went to meet Alex in jail. But instead of revealing his real identity, he disguised himself as a church priest and went to talk to Alex. But Alex gets more angry when he sees this priest, and says, you leave me alone, I don’t want to talk to you. Saying this he becomes silent.
Disappointed, the governor left. Then the jailor asked Alex, what did Alex say to the governor? Governor? Alex was surprised and said that the governor came to meet me to save my life, and I threatened the governor to run away. I made a big mistake says Alex and he was completely disappointed.
The next day Alex will be hanged. Asked about his last wish to be hanged, Alex said, “My last words are that being hanged today is not my fault, that is, I killed him because the only reason I came to save me was to rebuke the governor.” Today I am being hanged. ”
Many old facts still teach us the truth. Perhaps we are forgetting the opportunity that God has left for us for salvation. God the Father sent his beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to earth in order to save us from the eternal sin that has been reserved for a sinner.
The Lord did not create a world full of murder, robbery, murder, evil, the poor, the miserable, the sick, the role, the evil, etc. These sins become a part of life because of human sins and because they disobey God’s commandments.
But a question comes to us that is there any way for happiness and peace?
Man’s hard work and vows cannot free him from all these sins. God, the Creator, is able to answer these questions. But how? Yes, there is a way, the Son Jesus Christ sacrificed on the cross just to atone for man’s sins and so only the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, can save us from sin and save us from the curse and that is true. The Scriptures say, “For God so loved the world that he who believes in Him does not perish but has everlasting life(John 3:16).
The Scriptures say, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:14).
If you have not yet received the peace and eternal life offered by the Lord Jesus Christ, why are you late? Yes, you have to do something for him. The point is to believe that Jesus Christ saved you from the penalty of sin or hell by atoning for your sins by sacrificing your life on the cross and accepting Lord Jesus as your Father and Lord in your life.
