We are the children of the highest God so we cannot follow the world. The Bible says that money is the root of all evil and those who run after it has ended their life.

We are called to inherit the eternal life which is designed for use by the Lord Jesus Christ. People in this world often misunderstood Christianity and the thing is that if we see Jesus then we will receive him but it is not so.

We have to accept him by our faith. Jesus says that to think of his Kingdom and righteousness then all the things he will provide us.

Keeping the word of God in our mind we need to walk alone with God so that we can guard our heart by which we will be able to enter our final destination which is heaven.

Why did God tell us you should not love money?  There are many reasons behind this so God warns us again and again that you are not small behind money.  

That is why God is not telling us that we do not need money, we all need money but if someone loves money too much then there is a problem. Then he will be so busy saving money that he forgets his Creator and his life will be ruined. 

It is not a bad thing to be rich, but it is very bad to love too much money in the wrong way or without giving time to God, without helping anyone.

1 Timothy 6:9-10(KJV)“But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”

Explanation:- Christians should not follow this world or the things of the world because the Lord wants us to follow him faithfully so that we can be enriched with his righteousness. We are the light of the world to reflect Jesus by our characters.

Hebrews 13:5(KJV)“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”

Explanation:- When God has called us we need to remember that we must live a holy life and we must give up all kinds of covetousness so that we can glorify God by our Christian life.

We will live on this earth for 70 years which is our lifespan according to the words of God. We must use our days wisely so that we can become sinless in the eyes of God when we stand for judgment.

Luke 12:15(KJV)“And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses”

Explanation:- People in this world honor a person according to their possessions but the Lord looks at our heart and he wants to give up all kinds of fleshly desires.

We are called to live a righteous life by which we can be able to prove to ourselves that we are the children of God.

Matthew 6:24(KJV)“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon”

Explanation:- Jesus said that we cannot serve two masters at the same time. We have to choose anyone because we cannot give our time and heart to both masters. If we serve God then we have to remove ourselves from the world. On the other hand, if we run after the money then we have to be separated from the presence of the Lord.

Explanation:- At the time of final judgment our wealth will give us no profit. We will be judged according to our works and righteousness. so we must be careful regarding our wealth and finance.

Explanation:- A person cannot be satisfied with what he loves. Nothing can fulfill the desires of our hearts until we are content with what we have. We need to learn how to be satisfied with what we have.

Explanation:- The Bible says that our heart will always be there where our treasure exists. If we love money then our heart will always encourage us to run after it and if we love God then it will always seek to connect with him.

Explanation:- Jesus says that we should not gather our wealth on this earth because here it will be destroyed by insects and the thieves also steal our wealth.

We need to store our treasure in heaven where none will snatch it out of God’s hand but we will be rewarded at the end of our earthly life.

Explanation:- If a person earns money illegally then very soon he will lose all of his wealth. The Lord says that he will provide us all our needs at the right time if we seek him day by day and we will definitely get all our needs. If we believe him then he will provide us all our essential things.

Explanation:- As we are living on a sinful earth we must be wise to walk in God’s righteousness. People in this world are running after money and they forget what they are called for. God wants us to obey him so that we can enter heaven where we will live forever.
