When we do something for others and if that person does not give the credit to us we do not feel good. But if he acknowledges what we did, we feel good. The same thing happens with the Lord, when we give thanks to Him, He blesses us more.
Many people pray only to gain something from the Lord. Once they received what they prayed for, they didn’t give thanks to God. It is such a bad manner and makes the Lord upset.
God wants nothing from us except a beautiful relation. We can make a deep relationship with Him by giving thanks for all of His blessings. this is free of cost, we have to pay nothing for it.
Air, water, sunlight and so on which we get from nature free of cost. If we had to buy all these to use, how much money we have to pay for that. God loves us all that is why He supplies these to us.
The more we thank Him for His goodness, the more he will bless us. We need to build a habit of giving thanks to the Lord because it will help us to walk with Him.

Psalm 106:1(KJV)“Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever”
Explanation:- God is good all the time. He created this universe for mankind. All the resources we get from nature are made by God. He loves us and because of our sake, He created all these so that we live here peacefully.
1 Thessalonians 5:18(KJV)” In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”
Explanation:- It is our priority to give thanks to the Lord as He deserves that. If we do not acknowledge His help in our work, He gets hurt from us. By giving thanks we can please Him.
Psalm 7:17(KJV)“I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high”
Explanation:- The Lord whom we worship is a righteous God and he demands from us nothing. When we walk along with him, in our life we can build a beautiful relationship with him. In our prayers, we should always give thanks to him because he is the one who provides everything when we are in need.
1 Timothy 1:12(KJV)“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry”
Explanation:- To encourage Timothy Paul told him that once upon a time he was a blasphemer but God forgave him because he did that ignorantly in unbelief. But when God called him he preached the gospel faithfully wherever he had been. Because of God’s grace, he thanked him for forgiving the sins that he did in his early life.
