He gave us so many instructions on how to live on this earth so that we can enter into His Kingdom apart from those here in this article we are going to discuss the verses where we can learn how to live a humble life in front of God so that we can please him.
we are here not to satisfy others but it is our duty to love or got from our heart soul and mind and to obey all office commandments so that we will receive his blessings.
God loves those who are humble and obey all of these commandments. Jesus wants us to respect each other so that we will glorify him through our accents.
Sometimes it seems difficult to treat people according to the word of God but still, we need to show our love toward them because God directs us in that way. Without the word of God, we will go astray and we will lose our life.
Jesus also humbled himself to give us salvation, if he did not humble himself then for us it would be impossible to receive salvation.

Luke 6:31(KJV)“And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise”
Explanation:- We expect from the people that they should respect us and behave us nicely but in return most of the time we do not do what we expect from them. The scripture says that we should diligently do to others what we expect from them.
1 John 1:9(KJV)“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
Explanation:- Jesus wants us to live a holy life as he is holy that is why I required us to be Holy in his sight. He does not demand us anything but he wants us to live our life according to his will. When we fulfilled his requirements he reveals himself to us.
He wants us to confess our sins before him so that our sins can be forgiven by his grace. He will forgive all our evil deeds and renew us by his precious blood.
Matthew 23:12(KJV)“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted”
Explanation:- When someone will praise himself he will not gain any reward but the one who will humble himself in the sight of the Lord will be e rewarded by the Lord.
It is a voice for a man to humble himself in the sight of the Lord so that the Lord will lift him up.
2 Chronicles 7:14(KJV)“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”
Explanation:- To seek the presence of the Lord we must humble ourselves and we also need to seek the presence of God and we need to give up all kinds of evil works that we practice.
God says when we will follow all these things only then he will listen to our prayer and bless our land.
James 4:10(KJV)“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up”
Explanation:- God will be on our side only when we will bow down before him with a gentle and humble heart. Does not like those who are pride in hearts. To have an intimate relationship with Lord Jesus it is mandatory to humble ourselves before him and he will reign over us.
1 Peter 5:5(KJV)“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble”
Explanation:- The word of God says all the youths should respect the elders and they should submit themselves to one another. Apart from this everybody should wear humility to show their respect towards God.
God hates those who are proud but those who are humble will receive blessings from Him.
John 13:14-15(KJV)“If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you”
Explanation:- Jesus gave a nice example by washing the feet of His disciples. while his disciples were arguing with one another regarding who will be greater among them at that moment Jesus did this to show them not to be great but to be the last one, so that they will receive the blessings from him. He also taught them to practice it as he did to them.
Matthew 18:2-3(KJV)“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven”
Explanation:- Jesus told us that to enter his Kingdom we must have the heart of a child. Children are innocent and they never remember the things which they had done before with their friends. We should also have that kind of heart while we forgive others and do not remember the anger.
Ephesians 4:2(KJV)“With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love”
Explanation:- Being a Christian is not an easy task. We need to be humble, long-suffering and have a love for others. Though people may not treat us the way we want still we need to love them forgiving all their evil deeds.
2 Corinthians 8:9(KJV)“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich”
Explanation:- To give us eternal life God made him poor by taking the form of a human being. He made himself empty for our sake. By him, we become rich when we receive him as our God.
Ephesians 2:8-9(KJV)“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”
Explanation:- We are saved by the grace of Jesus, we cannot obtain salvation by our own efforts. it is God himself who made the way for us to receive eternal life where we will live forever. Salvation is a free gift from God for which we do not have to pay anything except our hearts on Jesus.
Ephesians 4:31-32(KJV)“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you”
Explanation:- We the Christians should give up all kinds of fleshly desires and love one another. We need to understand that this world is not our permanent home beyond this world there is another world is waiting for us where we will live permanently. To enter into that world we must humble ourselves so that the Lord will be with us.
Isaiah 66:2(KJV)“For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word”
Explanation:- God says everything he created and he deserves the praises. But when he expects things from the human being he gets nothing from them.

Explanation:- As we are in a race to reach heaven so it is important for us to have one mind. We must be compassionate to each other as we all are in one aim.

Explanation:- We should perform all the works with peace and gentleness. As Jesus commanded us to love each other so must be very careful while we will deal with our brothers in every field.
Colossians 3:12(KJV)“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering”
Explanation:- We must be holy, humble, and caring for others. We should show respect for others as they are the children of God. In our words and actions, humbleness must be there.

Proverbs 29:23(KJV)“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit”
Explanation:- When a man shows his pride, he gets nothing out of God. As the Lord hates those who are proud. He will bless those who are humbled in heart and will bow down before him.
Psalm 25:9(KJV)“The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way”
Explanation:- God will reveal himself to those who are meek and gentle because he seeks that kind of worshippers who have a humble heart. When someone will humble himself in front of God, then he will be guided by the instructions of the Lord.
Proverbs 15:33(KJV)“The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility”
Explanation:- When we follow the instructions of the Lord we will receive wisdom and that will lead us to live a perfect Holi life in this sinful world. Wisdom is the knowledge that we get from the Lord which gives us heavenly knowledge by which we can live a peaceful life. And the word of God says to get honor we must be humble.
Zephaniah 2:3(KJV)“Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger”
Explanation:- At end of this world there is judgment waiting for every one of us.
God doesn’t want us to receive wrath instead of that he wants to get the eternal life that He designed for everybody. To enter into that Kingdom of God must live a holy life. We need to seek righteousness and meekness in our works and words.
Galatians 6:1(KJV)“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted”
Explanation:- If someone commits any mistakes in the church we should not judge him but we need to make him understand spiritually. We must be humble so that he will return to Lord Jesus.
Bible teaches us to be humble in the sight of the Lord so that he will lift us up. We must humble ourselves before God to understand His will. Until we bow down before him without a gentle heart we will not see him. Bible says God hates those who are proud in hearts.
Jesus told to his disciples to enter into the kingdom of God we all need to have a heart-like child. Until we change our hearts we will not enter in his Kingdom. Because he himself humbled before us by washing the feet of his disciples. Sometimes it might be hurt to humble ourselves but God will only enter in our life only when we will humble ourselves before him.
There are so many people whom God used for his mission. When we see the life of Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and all the prophets, we can see one thing in them that all of them were obedient and humble before God. Even the disciples of Jesus also humbled themselves after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. They were in one mind together and they went out to preach the gospel throughout the world.
