God, where are you? I want you. I need you. ‘How can I get you?’ Is this the cry of your sad heart? Do you want to seek and reach God with all your heart?
But it seems that somehow he is avoiding you and you can’t find him. You’re just looking, not alone. Everywhere, at every age, people are trying to find God.
Nearly two thousand years ago a young leader ran to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good do I have to do to have eternal life?” (Matthew 19:16).
When Peter preached on Pentecost, the people asked, “What shall we do?” Or, to put it another way, how can we find God? This turbulent world full of riots is crying silently today, crying out for God and His love.
People all over the world desperately need to try to find God. Our hearts are restless until they find rest in God. There is no peace of mind and no peace of mind except to find and walk with God.
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We need God to understand it better when we feel that God created us and created for Him.
None of us look the same. (None of us talk, think, look or act the same way); Yet we are all – created like God, in harmony with Him.
Read verses from the Holy Bible (Genesis 1:26). Our soul is alive and a special part of God, always willing to be in harmony with its Creator.
Just as a deer yearns for a stream of water. O God, my soul yearns for you. The thirst of my soul is aroused for God, for the living God; (Psalm 42:1-2). Yes, only the living God can please the living soul of man!
When David found God, he summed up his feelings, “I have no shortage of (Psalm 23:1). His need was met. He was satisfied and knew that only the union between the Creator and creation could bring peace.
He satisfies the thirst of those who are thirsty and satisfies those who are hungry with good things (Psalm 107:9).
God really does exist. Even though you don’t see him, don’t understand or, don’t find him. The immutable truth cannot be changed so much because He was, He is and He will be. There must be a God!
Do not doubt this. If you want God, then the key is that you believe that He exists and have full confidence in His love. Where is God? When he is elsewhere, can he stay here? God is everywhere!
At Jacob’s well, Jesus said to a woman, “God is a Spirit, and He is everywhere and always.”He does not hide in any remote place of heaven out of reach. In the church, in the synagogue, he does not limit himself.
You can find him in the mountains, in the valleys, in the sky, in the sea, in your home, or anywhere. He is all around you right now. God’s people said to Jacob, “Then the Lord must be in this place but I did not understand it (Genesis 28:16).
Often we are so engrossed in our worldly affairs that even though God is close to us. – We don’t understand that either. Expecting a dramatic encounter with God, we cannot hear His calm, gentle voice, nor feel His gentle attraction.
We must wait patiently; We have to try to see and hear, and only then will we see, hear and understand in faith. You do not have to wander in the dark to seek God. He does not hide from you, but he is looking for you himself.
Long before you start looking for Him, He wants to see you as a member of His eternal family, where He can love and care for you. Are you poor, restless, guilty, lost, or afraid of death? This is the God who is calling you; Because he doesn’t want you to get lost.
Maybe, this is his first or last call for you. “Ah, if you listen to him today! Your hearts are not hardened;” (Psalm 95:7-8). God, Himself has created a great way of love to receive Him.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
Christ is the only way to go to God! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6).
When the jailer asked Paul, “What must I do to be saved from sin?” The apostle Paul answered, “Belief on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved from sin.” (Acts 16: 30-31).
Nikadam sought salvation. Then Jesus said, “No man can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again” (John 3:3).
Like Nikadeem, your question may be- ‘How is this possible? Yes, the new birth means accepting Jesus, the Son of God, as your Savior.
Lord Jesus told him to enter into the kingdom of God one must be baptized with water and spirit. Each of us should pay heed to the word of God to enter his Kingdom. We must follow the instructions of Lord Jesus Christ to inherit everlasting life.
If you believe in Jesus’ death on the cross, His blood will cleanse you from all sin. Of course, you must repent of your sins and forsake all sins. Now, pray to God for the forgiveness of your sins and acknowledge Christ Jesus as Lord in all aspects of your life.
If we confess our sins, he forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness ” (1 John 1:9). Everyone has sinned. “No one is innocent, no one(Romans 3:10).
God is holy, so He hates sin. To draw close to God, we must learn about the sins mentioned in the Holy Bible. Living a good life will not be enough or it will not lead to forgiveness of sins. We must repent and turn from the path of sin.
To truly find God, you need to seek God more than anything else in your life. You must be fully committed to God in all aspects of your life and everything involved. You have to deny yourself completely, you have to give up personal interests.
Just as sin is detestable to God, so must sin be detestable in your life. Do You Really Want to Get to God and Walk With Him? The choice is yours alone. You do not have to lose anything but gain a lot. If you stop for a moment and turn to God, you will find Him.
The soul that seeks its Savior and the Savior who seeks the soul must be reconciled. When you find the source of all life, God will give you a new life, a new heart, and a strong desire to follow God. Everything in its old has been erased and everything has become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Pray to God. Ask forgiveness from him. Tell Him, you are tired of the burden of your sin and want to follow Him, where He will guide you. God’s peace is waiting for you if you obey Him out of obedience.
