Friends, the Bible warns us about the reality of hell and the lake of fire. These are solemn truths that will stir our hearts to draw nearer to God.
Hell is a place of pain, suffering, and torment for those who reject Christ. The flames are unquenchable, the thirst endless, the loneliness deep. There is no rest day or night for those who denounce this terrible fate.
The lake of fire is the final abode of the wicked after the Last Judgment. All those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of life will be cast into this lake to experience eternal destruction, cut off from God’s presence. What a terrible fate for the unrepentant sinner!
God does not want anyone to perish in hell. This is why Jesus came – to provide a way of salvation for those who put their trust in Him. But those who reject His sacrifice for their sins must bear the penalty of their own iniquity.
Friends, this will instill in us an urge to share the gospel while there is still time The time of God’s judgment is near. Let us live godly and holy lives, saving others from hellfire through the power of Christ’s love.
