As followers of Christ, we eagerly await the glorious day when Jesus will return. Though we don’t know the day or hour, we must keep watch, remaining faithful to our calling. Jesus warned that no one can predict His coming, so we should resist idle speculation and focus on living purposeful lives.
Waiting expectantly, we make the most of each moment. We pray, serve, and share the gospel, representing Christ in a fallen world. Hardships and ridicule test our hope, but we persevere, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. His Spirit empowers us to love as He loved and spread light in the darkness.
Our Lord tarries so more people can know salvation. This delay displays God’s patience and mercy. But Jesus will come swift and sudden, like a thief in the night. So we prepare our hearts, through repentance and spiritual discipline. Though we stumble, His grace awaits the humble.
By following Jesus today, we ready ourselves for His kingdom. Seeking righteousness, we await our adoption as God’s children. On that glorious day, our redemption will be complete. The dead will rise and we will dwell forever with our Lord.
Until then, we wait with patient endurance and eager expectation. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about Jesus’s return.
