Beloved congregation, let us gather in reverence and explore the divine truth revealed to us through the Holy Scriptures. The Word of God speaks clearly about the destiny of unbelievers, those who reject the salvation offered by our Lord Jesus Christ.
As God’s chosen people, we are called to spread the Gospel and share the Good News with all nations. However, some may harden their hearts and refuse to accept the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus. The Bible reminds us that these souls, blinded by disbelief, are on a perilous path.
In the book of Matthew, our Savior Himself warned of the consequences for those who reject Him, saying, “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:18)
The Bible teaches us that God is just and righteous. He is merciful and patient, giving every chance for repentance. However, a time will come when divine judgment will be rendered. In the book of Revelation, it speaks of the lake of fire, the second death, prepared for those whose names are not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
It is not His desire that any should be lost, but rather that all should come to repentance. Yet, those who stubbornly reject God’s love and salvation will face the consequence of eternal separation from Him.
As followers of Christ, we are called to love and pray for all, including unbelievers, that their hearts may be softened, and their eyes opened to the truth.
Let us continue to be the light of the world, sharing God’s love and grace with everyone we encounter, so that through our testimony, Some are saved from darkness and come into the eternal embrace of our Savior. Amen.
