Dear brother and sister, The journey of faith, is not simply a matter of believing, but also about how one’s belief transforms one’s life. It is essential to embrace “training in righteousness” as part of our spiritual growth.
As a loving parent guides their child in the ways of good behavior, so does our heavenly Father teach us, his children, the path of righteousness.
In the ancient times, a potter would mold clay into beautiful pots. Similarly, we too are being shaped by the hands of the Divine Potter, refined by every trial and temptation we face. With each challenge, we are being prepared and molded for a greater purpose.
The stories from the Bible remind us of men and women who faced trials, temptations, and tests, yet emerged stronger and closer to God. For instance, Joseph, sold into slavery, was later elevated to greatness not just because of his faith, but because he allowed his faith to train him in righteousness.
The art of righteousness, dear friend, is a continuous learning process. Just as a musician practices diligently to master an instrument, so too must we practice righteousness daily, making choices that align with the divine will.
This training refines our character, helps us to discern right from wrong, and draws us closer to the heart of God.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about “Training in Righteousness”.
