Although Jesus did not say directly in the Bible that I am God, yet he indirectly stated that he was the only  God of the Old Testament. Jesus assured his claim by this scripture – “If you do not believe that I am He, ye shall die in your sins”. John 8:24

Today we will look at some Bible verses that clearly show that the Old Testament God, whose name is Jehovah, was born in the flesh that is Jesus Christ.

1.  If Jesus is not Almighty God then who is Immanuel?

Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:21-23 – Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

3. If Jesus Christ is not  Almighty God, then when will Balaam’s predictions come to pass?
