Dear friends, building a strong relationship with God requires commitment and intentionality, but it is the most rewarding pursuit in life.
Start by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. This restored relationship is the foundation. Then nurture it through spiritual disciplines like prayer, studying the Bible, worship, fellowship and service. Seek God first every morning. Learn to recognize His voice and follow His lead throughout your day.
Develop an attitude of gratitude. Thank God for who He is and His continued blessings. Bring your cares and requests to Him. Give Him your anxieties and find peace in His presence. Praise Him in all circumstances.
Strengthen your intimacy with God by obeying His commands and trusting Him fully. Rely on the Holy Spirit to transform you and manifest the fruit of the Spirit. Surrender your will to God’s perfect plan.
This lifelong journey has ups and downs, but God uses it all to draw you closer to Himself. Stay rooted in His unconditional love. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, your faithful friend and ever-present help in times of need.
