Hello, dear friends, welcome to our site in the name of Jesus Christ. Today we will look at the Bible about being a good husband and his responsibility to his wife. If you like today’s post then definitely comment and share.
The Bible says that one can become a good husband only when he loves his wife more than himself and must fulfill his duties to a wife because the Bible says that just as the head of the church is Christ, so the head of a wife is her husband (1 Corinthians 11:3 ). Although wives are under their husbands, husbands should not abuse them but treat them gently because the Bible says that God is the Father of a woman just as He is the Father of men. And to mistreat his children is to mistreat God himself.
So as a good husband he should always be happy with his wife and shower her with love because she comes to a completely new society and leaves all her family and relatives. And the Bible says that he who loves his wife loves himself (Ephesians 5:28) because the Bible says a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24).
And God’s Word also tells us that if a husband has an unbelieving wife, he must not divorce her because the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband (1 Corinthians 7:14).
Now let’s look at some other verses of the Bible from where we can understand how to be a good husband according to the Bible.
