“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning“
Explanation:- When the children of Israel were away from the presence of the Lord and confronted many hardships in their lives and they understood that they needed to turn back again to the Lord. The Lord asked them to repent for their evil doings and they must submit themselves with a lonely heart by fasting and weeping. If they do so only then their sins will be forgiven in the sight of the Lord.
