Daily Bible Verse(Reading) With Explanation
“Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfill the statutes and judgments which the Lord charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed”
Explanation: – The Lord formed the nation Israel out of the seed of Abraham. He has promised Abraham that from his seed he will make a great nation that will fill the earth like the stars in the sky.
The Lord has promised the Israelites that he will always be with them and he will be their God. To fulfill his promises what he made with Abraham the Lord took Israel on the battlefield to defeat other nations so that they can dwell in the land of Canaan.
The Lord knows the hearts of the people that is why he reminded them not to think of uncertain things that can make them weak. Instead of thinking negative thoughts, they must be brave and courageous so that they can walk along with the Lord.
