Friends, in this world we have so much affection for our loved ones that it is very difficult to forget when we lose someone. Friends, today we will discuss some Bible verses that will help us to overcome this situation.2 Corinthians 4:17 It has been said that this sorrow is only temporary, then a great joy awaits us with which it is nothing compared to this sorrow.
Our dear friends, we forget that we are not permanent residents of this world, our permanent home is with God. Just as we go on a holiday somewhere, so we come to this world on a journey. Whether we live or die on this earth, we belong to the Lord.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:13, Paul says that we should not be discouraged like this world because we hope we will be reunited with all our loved ones and we will live together with God forever where there will be no more suffering Revelation 21:4.
So friends, let’s not be upset. Some of us may lose our mother, some may lose our father, some may lose our brother, some may lose our sister, some may lose our grandfather, some may lose our grandmother, some may lose her husband, and some may lose his wife.
Whoever loses his loved one should believe that God will resurrect him and they will be reunited together. Here we will only miss our loved one for a while but then we will all be with him forever as children of God.
